Smaug the Golden

Smaug the Golden, also called Smaug the Magnificent, was one of the last great Fire-drakes of Middle-earth and by far the most powerful dragon in the latter part of the Third Age. He was best known by laying waste the town of Dale and capturing the dwarwen kingdom of Lonely Mountain (Erebor) with all of its treasures.
